28: Rextasy By Faceasaurus Rex
-Would you rather be a rapper getting the crowd hyped or be a dj pumping a party? How about rapping over dubstep and house? That’s a first and was the biggest and best surprise for my 2012 list. It’s a pretty potent combination. Faceasaurus Rex’s first album or original material (as opposed to remixes) is a banger. The vocals and beats go hand in had and are a perfect combo. From the first wub in “Don’t Hold Your Breath’ to the last beat on “Respect the Bass” its hard not to like this album. However if you don’t like techno or dubstep you might want to sit this one out.
